Purple Finch

The male Purple Finch, is not purple but has more of a Raspberry colored head with similar colored stripes on brown feathers. The female Purple Finch has no red in her feathers; her plumage is primarily browns and tan tones.

This finch has a tough beak and enjoys cracking into Black-oil Sunflower Seeds. They also enjoy smaller treats such as Sunflower Chips, Nyjer and Safflower.

While they will appreciate Finch Feast, they will love any blend with Black-oil Sunflower such as Birds Gone Wild and Classic Blend.
