This blend is loaded with peanuts, tree nuts, sunflower chips and hulled pumpkin seed that attracts Jays, Bluebirds, Cardinals, Finches, and Woodpeckers.
These, and other “clinging birds” have feet that are made to run up and down tree trunks, rather than just landing to perch. Some clinging birds, such as the Titmouse, Chickadee, and Nuthatches take a single seed and fly away to eat or store it for later, then return for another “serving” of feed. This makes these polite little birds a joy to watch.
By nature, clinging birds are curious, will often be the first type of bird at a new (or newly filled) feeder. They are entertaining, enjoyable little feathered acrobats!
